Przemek a étudié la philosophie à l’université de Wroclaw en Pologne. Il collabore avec l’institut Grotowski depuis 1995. Entre 1996 et 1999, il travaille en tant qu’acteur sous la direction de Grzegorz Bral au sein de l’ensemble Song of the Goat (Wroclaw), notamment dans Dithyramb.
À l’automne 2002, il commence à travailler sur son propre projet, qui aboutit à la création d’un spectacle solo, Ecce Homo. Depuis 2004, il est acteur de Teatr ZAR : il joue dans Gospels of Childhood (un triptyque qui comprend Gospels of Childhood, Caesarian Section et Anhelli), sous la direction de Jarosław Fret, qui est montré plusieurs centaines de fois et dans le monde entier. Depuis 2012, il participe à la création du prochain spectacle de Teatr ZAR, Armine. En 2012, il a également travaillé en tant qu’acteur et assistant dans la dernière création de Theodoros Terzopoulos, Mauser, d’après Heiner Müller.
Depuis plus de sept ans, il pratique l’aïkido, auprès de sensei Piotr Masztalerz (5e Dan). En 2011, il a été uchideshi auprès de Juba Nour Shihan (6e Dan) au Mexique. Il travaille actuellement pour devenir professeur d’aïkido. En 2005, il s’est également rendu au Japon, à l’invitation de Toshi Tushitori (membre du CIRT de Peter Brook), pour pratiquer le Shintaido, un système d’entraînement japonais fondé sur le karaté traditionnel qui intègre le corps et la voix. Przemek dirige depuis 2011, avec l’actrice et musicienne Nini Julia Bang, le programme « Embraces –dialogue through body and voice », et a mené dans ce cadre une dizaine d’ateliers en Pologne, Slovaquie et Danemark.

Przemysław Błaszczak is an actor with a degree in philosophy who has been associated with the Grotowski Institute since 1995. From 1996 to 1999, he worked with the Song of the Goat Theatre, where he performed in Song of the Goat – Dithyramb. In 2002–2003, Przemek created the solo performance Ecce Homo and in 2004 he joined Teatr ZAR, a resident company of the Grotowski Institute, with whom he has performed in the Gospels of Childhood: Overture and Anhelli: The Calling. He is currently involved in the creation of Teatr ZAR’s new performance, Armine, Sister.
Przemek also performs in Heiner Müller’s Mauser, directed by Theodoros Terzopoulos (Greece), which had it Polish premiere in 2012. At the Grotowski Institute, he performed alongside Alexandra Kazazou in KassandER directed by Io Voulgaraki (Greece), and he directed Flores en las Cunetas with Maite Tarazona (Spain). Together with Nini Julia Bang (Denmark), Przemek set up a workshop platform called Embraces: Dialogues through Voice and Body. He is currently studying the original actor training method developed by Theodoros Terzopoulos at Attis Theatre, Greece. He has run workshops in Poland (Wrocław, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Poznań, Opole) and abroad (France, Spain, UK, Norway, US).
Since 2005 Przemek has studied the Japanese martial art of aikido under Sensei Piotr Masztalerz (6th dan). In 2011, he studied with Juba Nour Shihan (6th dan) in Baja California, Mexico. In 2005, at the invitation of Toshi Tushitori, he went to Japan where he practiced shintaido, a Japanese system that integrates voice and body through training based on traditional Japanese karate. From 2013 to 2016, Przemek was one of the leaders of the Two Paths Studio, which was part of the Grotowski Institute’s BodyConstitution research programme.
